They basically took a hemi head, and chopped the sides off the hemi. Its more like a modern pent-roof chamber, but with two valves. It is not based in any way shape or form off the old 426

Not quite the same as the original, but you are in fact WRONG. It is in fact based on the 426. The heads aren't full hemispherical only because it has 4 valves, vs 2 on the original....

no it is not like the 426.... but it is still a hemi design just slightly modified for the valves but it is still a hemi do the research.

no such thing as a 7.0 in new challenger but the r/t has a 5.7 the srt-8 has a 6.1
