+not Sauer if it wasn't for your unwarranted advice, this comment would not have a reply. Thanks for nothing. I think the world knows about YouTube Red without your help.
+canuckster24 So basically if they refuse to play? Haven't heard about that situation in the rulebook or anywhere else for that matter. Maybe the umpire would throw both of them out of the game, I don't know :D
Those emails FLAT OUT from Joe agreed that they should cover up this
scandal and not report it to authorities. This wasn't media spin this was a
stone cold fact when the e-mails were shown in court. Your remaining
loyalty to Joe is sickening at this point in all honesty. Get off you're
"lets just keep blaming the media" high horse. Nothing was spun here and
those emails came DIRECTLY FROM JOE. Period. I get that your a big fan of
Joe and all but have some decency at this point. Seriously.
The reason why I never got into the NBA more is because there's an aura of
certainty around it. In the NFL, MLB, and as the Kings just proved, the
NHL, anybody can exit the field/rink with the ultimate trophy. In the NBA,
in most cases, the team that outtalents the others wins the rings. Despite
that, the Heat are poo heads and if it was an 82-game season, they may not
have even made it to this year's finals, let alone win it. They may
technically be champions now, but they don't have the heart.
Nice Review, but I have to disagree on 1 thing Dwayne Wade was Twice the
player Scottie Pippen ever was?!? no goddamn way, Pippen was a better
shooter AND defender than wade, let me tell you this, if Pippen & Toni
Kukoc wasn't in Jordan's team, he wouldnt win his 6 rings (probably 2 only)
the guy can pretty much defend any position, dwayne is just a great player
and scorer, but he isnt even that great of a 3 point shooter, they pretty
much had a Star in mj and two amazing players to back him up
Do more UFC shit Archfiend. Some side notes, if you do some research you
may find it interesting to find that Silva was trying to rub the grease off
his face onto his chest and also you can see him grabbing at Sonnens shorts
for periods of time, at times quite visibly, to the point of obvious
elastic extension. Not saying he won because of it but every thing matters
in a fight, something else could have happened and so on. I think it's safe
to say that he lost by spinning backfist self defeat.
Yes, he was the Finals MVP, but not only did he had Shaq, he also had
Payton, Mourning, Haslem, Walker, Posey & Williams...they we're past their
prime but they were experienced veterans, but what Happened to the heat
when they lost 6 out of those 7 players? a 1st round loss followed by the
worst record the next season When MJ left, Pip lead the bulls in scoring,
asst, reb, stl & blk, the bulls managed to reach the East Semifinals but
lost in 7 games...who was Pip's 2nd Offensive option? Kukoc?
and 1 more thing...If you would put Pippen in a roster like Wade's 2006
championship team, with Pippen as the same age as wade, I'm pretty sure he
will win a title too...Pippen Didn't have the chance to showcase his
abilities because he played alongside MJ When MJ left Pip Averaged: 22 ppg,
9rpg, 6apg, 3spg and 1bpg...like I said earlier, he lead his team in EVERY
major statistical category which I believe never happened before Also, he
was already well past his prime when he was in Portland
As for who is the better player accomplishments aside; I'd taker the guy
who will give you 20+ points a game, more assists, more steals, and speed.
That's Dwayne Wade if you're not keeping track ;) Keep in mind too, Pippen
is a better all around defender and can be put on anyone because of his
height compared to D Wade. I wouldn't exactly credit him for being better
just because he is taller and will be given way more opportunities to block
shots, guard the paint, etc. than Wade ever would.
I gotta make another point. Even if the Heat do start winning multiple
titles, fans will still show up or turn on the tvs to watch these games
because of the "hook factor." You mentioned the Michael Jordan show of the
90's. The Lakers had a three-in-a-row run a little after that with big Shaq
and his antics. The Heat are possibly the most hated team in sports right
now. People will pay money to see if they lose and when they do, they will
point and laugh . They will watch for them to fail.
The Bulls won't do shit next year. Derek Rose won't even be playing until
at least February. On top of that he will never be to 100% of his
capabilities after this ACL tear. Look at what the Bulls did without him
this year in the playoffs. They lost to the 8th seed Sixers. Look what they
did in Game 1 of that series vs. the Sixers when Rose was in the line up.
Won by 20 points The Bulls WERE the only decent competition the Heat had
int he east. The other was the Celtics. So much for that
The "it wasn't 82 games so it doesn't count" excuse? And you say they don't
have heart? How do you figure that one? First of all, the schedule wasn't
merely reduced, it was compressed. Games came at a faster clip, practice
days were few and far between, and there was little-to-no training camp to
start. Come playoff time, you saw how many people go down with injury
again? Chris Bosh included; and he came back. I would argue it took more to
go through that than a regular 82-game season.
there is no evidence(at this time) that he talked about it with Spanier,
and only a mention in one of the leaked emails that Curley talked to him
about the incident McQueary saw. And there is no proof that Joe told Curley
to cover anything up, just that they talked. But I will eat crow if the
anything actually proves Joe did everything to cover it up. But for now, I
want to focus on actual facts that prove something that had Joe any real
ties to this scandal before i make a decision.
Sonnen will still main event...on Fuel TV! Might as well trade him to the
WWE for Lesnar and let Sonnen talk shit (and get buried) by Cena. And give
Lesnar a rematch against Overroid. As for Phillies having draw, here's why:
1) Philly is a straight-up SPORTS CITY! Enough Said 2) They're in the heart
of the Northeast where even if their fans don't show up, you're still going
to get NYC, Boston, and (as of this season), Washington and Baltimore fans
to fill up the rest of the seats.
As for Penn State, I was on the train yesterday and saw a little girl
wearing a shirt with the PSU logo and couldn't even conjure up what to
think. In the long run, this is just going to make Penn State a bigger
slacker party school than what it already is. Because at this point, the
students who smart enough to see through Joe Pa's "holiness" are probably
the same kids who are intellectually competent enough to get into Drexel,
CMU, and Pitt, and are taking the following actions.
The Lakers will be lucky to make it past the first round of the playoffs.
Kobe is another year older and regressed in every aspect of his game. Gasol
will be gone. Met... Ron Artest is a scrub who thinks he's the best player
in the world and will be lucky if he doesn't get a season ending suspension
at some point next year. Nash is a solid addition but he too is getting
another year past his prime like Kobe. I won't buy this team till they at
least show me who's playing center.
SAY WHAAAT? Are you kidding me? Dwayne Wade near single handily won the
Heat's first NBA title. Don't give me the "he had Shaq too" shit. Shaq was
well past his prime and anyone who follows the game knows D Wade was the
heart and soul of that teams first championship run. Pippen on the other
hand played with the single greatest player in the history of the game.
What did Pippen down when MJ went to play baseball for a year? Nothing.
What did Pippen do in Portland? Nothing.
