My favorite is mochi with sesame paste or red bean paste in it!! YUM!!!
Oh how I miss it! Moved out of the US recently and heard there are Asian
grocery stores here in Bahamas but haven't been able to look for them yet
(no car) and see if they have seaweed snacks and mochi!!
+becomingablessing oh I see. How awesome! I hope you are enjoying your life there. What kind of food do they eat over there? I'm not familiar with food in the Bahamas at all.
No not really, I looked up mochi in found out that it's made from rice which is really good. I thought it was made from soy but I do have to drive a lil ways to get to Asian markets. The markets are like I say about an 1 or 2 from where I live!!!!XD

Where can you find/buy mochi? I apologize if you said it in the videos but
I must have missed it? But if anyone does know please let me know! Thank
you very much
+Roxanne Lee You can cook mochi in a bowl placed inside a pan surrounded by water on a steaming rack. Depending on amount you can steam for 10-15 minutes, stir carefully (bowl will be very hot), then steam for additional 10-15 minutes.
If i use a steamer, for how long do i have to steam it? Because i don't
have any microwave. I just have an oven. I don't know the temperature if i
use an oven

In Norway we say "Hei" = "Hi", "Hallo" = "Hello", and "Halla" as a slang
for "Hallo".
As for other greetings,
we have "God dag" = "Good day", "God ettermiddag" = "Good afternoon", "God
kveld" = "Good evening".
Other polite sayings include, but are not limited to:
"Velkommen" = "Welcome".
"Vel møtt" = "Well met".
"Ha det bra" = "Goodbye".
"Ha en fin dag" = "Have a nice day".
"Frøken" = "Miss".
"Fru" = "Mrs".
"Herr" = "Mr".
"Takk" = "Thank you".
"Tusen takk!" = "Thank you very much!". (Tusen literally means thousand.)
Another thing of note when it comes to Norwegian is that we say "Takk" very
often;
for example, we say "Takk for maten" which translates into "Thanks for the
food",
which is commonly said after you've done eating whenever someone has given
you food,
almost no matter the context,
at home, at your relatives, at social gatherings etc.,
it's a daily phrase in Norway.
Wow Emmi, I've watched your videos for such a long time now and after
rewatching the old ones this is such a huge improvement!
Also I'm a very very big fan of your hair, it reminds me of the old Kingdom
Hearts games haha :D
Take care
+emmymadeinjapan In Greece we say "yia sas" and in Norway we say "Halla"I m Greek-norwegian so I m telling you both :)I am also thinking of sending you more snacks and treats from Greece...one video is really not enough to even show a small part of what they have there
