This is from Toronto.  We've been doing this for 13 years.  There is a critical mass in our city as well.

+ButtercupBeauty before facebook we use to stop people in the streets and ask them to come to board meeting. The success of Board meeting came from early message board days. Now days I'm sure you town/city has facebook group for shredders. Look for it!! If you don't have one ? start it and they will find you.

+Skate Invaders well I've been thinking of opening a skate shop so there will be a bigger skating community I guess it's what's it's called I'm 17 right now so as soon as I finish high school I'ma try and open one up.

+oscar guijosa we had 40 people at the first Board Meeting. Now we 900- 1500 every years. Shred it and they will come !! 13 years of hard work, from skaters by skaters.

This is fabulous! When choosing my repertoire, I listened to the entire Grade 9 book and this song is last . . . Told my teacher, "I think I'd like to play this song," and she was so thrilled. This is how I "discovered" Chilly Gonzales . . . and am playing this song at my recital next Friday.
