Williams College Accidentals: Set Fire to the Rain
Williams College Accidentals performing Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain" Live.
Brian Williams Suspended, Jon Stewart Retiring
Jon shares his disappointment that his two favorite news/comedy anchors are both leaving their posts this year; Brian Williams - the anchor of "NBC Nightly ...
+AlexNoBriefs "You're not the first civilian to display his ignorance". Please, remove the ego stick from your pompous rectum and stop talking down to people. Please stop acting like you are intellectually superior and stop being condescending.
+AlexNoBriefs You really don't see it? Your huge sweeping generalizations that all civilians are ignorant, and that only those who have served can possibly know anything about the Middle East?
+AlexNoBriefs I know the difference between the countries. I merely remembered the original story incorrectly - it happens. "Learn to accept criticism"? I explained my mistake... maybe you should learn how not to be an asshole for no reason, and pushing your bullshit political agenda onto others.
+Jon You're not the first civilian to display his ignorance, in regards to the differences between Afghanistan and Iraq. Been to both, personally, and I can assure you there's a huge difference. Learn to accept criticism, ok cupcake?
Which might be at all important to the conversation if this was a news show. But it isn't, so please allow me to make the occasional mistake - I produce 450+ videos a year, it happens.
Telling a lie...but Fox News is the expert on that one. You know what, this
is travesty in its finest. Pure hypocrisy. Fox people get paid to tell
lies, and Brian got suspended for a single, non-consequential, minor,
non-shattering, non-malicious lie. That's crazy. Double-standard,
degrading, hypocritical, and outright ridiculous.
Maybe everyone should remember that U.S. politicians lie EVERY fucking day
in this country resulting in the death and costing the citizens of this
countries billions. But yet Brian Williams gets this much shit for this?
Now what he did was wrong, not by any means justifying his actions, and I
will never see him the same way. But come one people lets put this in
perspective, 6 months suspension without pay is fair, but this humiliation
and having his TV career essentially ruined is too far, when the
politicians get to make lies that are astronomically bigger than this every
day without a word being said.
hehe true, but ALL politicians are the same :) We need to develop a system without them, as a former systems developer, I could design and develop a system that could replace all politicians and the laws that govern them, as many others can :) Please fellow developers, take this idea and fly with it! We don't need any of these fuckers! :P cheers lol
You did a very good job on this video Jon. It's sad to see someone go but
it's always great to remember the good times. It's nice of you to always
invite us to share our thoughts on the topics you discuss even if they are
sad and depressing topics. Thank you.
Jon this is without a doubt the most beautiful video you have ever made and
by far my favorite. Thank you so much for doing what you do. This was
touching and a great way to remember one of the greatest entertainers of
all time.
As others have said, you have done a fantastic job with this video. I
really don't know how to put it into words, but... you just hit everything
right on the head, especially with that beginning proverb. Thank you.
As for dealing with sudden, tragic events like the death of Mr. Williams...
I usually just go silent and have to take a while to fully process it.
When I learned of MH 17's shootdown, I was stunned speechless for a good
five minutes. It just... takes a while to fully understand the absence
that has opened, and realize that what once was will never be again.
