Did you know that some of those scientists quit in protest over the politicization (distortion) of the science. Those are some of the honest ones. This notion of the UN's 2500 of the world's leading scientists in consensus on "global warming" is a crock, because many of the scientists did not agree to their political statement of the science. In fact, one scientist had to sue (take to court) the UN to get his name removed from their fake consensus.PS - Sounds like your dad was quite a guy. Bravo! I agree that just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper doesn't mean they know nothing on the topic. But knowing something about a topic and being an expert are two different things. Only experts i trust are ones that have published peer review papers on the topic, preferably many of them. This show they have varifiable data to back up their conclusions. Yet the quickest way to lose your funding and never get anymore is to be found be corrupting your data. So in effect you are saying that people risking their careers to save their careers? I'm confused. My father is a research scientist and i saw none of this. He worked for the australia government on tuna populations for 40 years. He was highly critical of both government and industrial policy yet kept his funding and won awards by both for his work. Thats because his work was peer reviewed and he had the varifiable data to back his conclusions. Ps- the u.n. doesnt do any scientific research so which scientists are you talking about.

Just because a person has a piece of paper doesn't mean they will always tell you the truth about that same topic. Corruption is rampant in all sciences, because of funding concerns. It doesn't take an expert to realize that people are selfish and conspiracies are Dirt Ordinary.We live in an Ice Age and far closer to dangerous cold than dangerous warmth. That should tell you something about the United Nations and their corrupt bunch of scientists. The Holocene interglacial is 500+ years overdue to end, based on average interglacial length during the current Ice Age. Yes, current; you know those little white things at the poles?
