Hi Shmee, great to see this video uploaded....I wondered if I would see it!! I was the chap driving the Exige V6, I'm from a Lotus Dealer called Bell and Colvill in West Horsley. Really enjoyed that play we had and your R8 is lovely! Was the Boxter S that was with us a friend of yours?

it's just that one of my clients in our restaurant has one and gave me a streetrace test drive and it looks much different. ok he has an illegal exhaust...but that's it few months later he let me drive it on circuit and OMG!!! what a car!!!

Sure it's tremendous to drive but there is no getting away from it.....the S2 exige was a much more attractive car to look at, the styling is so much more heavy handed and clumsy on this model...IMO :/

That is my all time favorite car apart the Nissan GTR. When I used to doodle cars, this car looks almost exactly the same apart from the rockets and machine guns. ;)

As soon as possible, the exhaust is being custom tuned to make sure the sound is perfect for me so taking a bit longer than anticipated; stay tuned!

How would you say the Exige compared to the R8 in terms of performance? Its difficult to get a good idea from the video. Is the Exige as quick?

Nice. How come you have no aero mods?? Not allowed?? You've not developed them yet?? How much differance to your top end speed did having that massive rear wing of the Gallardo in front of you on Conrod?? You could make up a lot of time across the top with aero mods, but how much would u lose out down conrod could of the aero?? Finally, thank you so much for posting ur telemetry data. Gives a real insight into racing around Bathurst

Please post your dyno results when you can and include the dyno type (i.e. Dynojet or Dynapak). I'm at 270 wHP 174 ish TQ on stock C64 (feels like I'm on the edge of what the tranny can withstand) but it's holding up so far. Are you running the MP62 or TVS supercharger?

We run in the Production class of GT Championship which doesn't allow aero mods. Not sure what the top speed difference was when I got the tow from the Lambo. Didn't get a chance to download the data before the car got put back in the truck.

Great result and thanks for posting the video. I know it takes considerable effort to get a Lotus Exige S sorted out for a 12 hour race. I love Bathhurst too. Looks like you have the KAAZ gearset since you're able to get into 6th.

I haven't had it back to the proper dyno pack since the upgrades. I would guess it's about 290-300 rwhp.
