I don't want a rail. If anything Hawaii will look less pretty like I said Hawaii will be purely crowded with ugly concrete structures if was up to the pro-railers. Rail is just a money train and has nothing to do with productivity. I am a bus rider. But have you seen where the rail will go? People like in Makaha will still have to ride a bus to get to their destination. Have you read about the gross misuse of funds and contracts? My response was directed at the pro-railers.

On top of that after having surveyors on the buses for weeks to determine what routes need the most attention and optimization they ELIMINATE bus routes. 2 out of a hundred people will use rail? I dont think that assumption is correct. If anything alot of people will use rail that is the population that uses TheBus now. But alot of people will still use cars. buses have nothing to do with traffic.

God. They are not inciting discussion, nor factual rhetoric. They are inciting a slap. All of them. The rail system will be largely dependent on ridership and population growth. It is also banking on the formation of a 2nd Honolulu out Ewa - especially because that's where the train yard will be - which is frankly looking more like Arizona by the day. Rail will create jobs? To what end?

2 out of a hundred people will use rail. 5.60 estimated fair. 5 billion dollars. On top of that most of the rail riders will indefinitely be present bus riders. That has a lot to say about the effectiveness of it. People like you just want rail so Hawaii can look pretty. you'd probably never use it. This is Hawaii, and rail is straight up disrespect to the community.

I want them to have their rail. Hawaii will get so crowded concrete ugly structures no one will want to live here. bring more tourists. bring them all. hawaii will diminish and then you'll be finished.
