Hello! That's my car, my little home! It is not at all what it appears to
be... It is a 1200 gallon water cistern insulated with polyisocyanurate
foam-board and covered with a $70 tent. The sheet-metal panel of the
Volvo's roof has been cut away, as has the bottom of the tank. (from Loomis
tank Arroyo Grande). It's rotomolded in HDPE with a 0.3" wall thickness.
and bolted through the frame of the uni-body vehicle with 1/2" grade-5
bolts 8-places. Thanks for making the great video! John Ross
Hahahaa this is a great video! I know the guy who 'invented' this, and he
is a genius! I'm serious! You can't tell from the video but underneath the
tent is a half drum from a water sistern (bought clean\new and cut in
half). The tent is really just for external 'looks'. It really is a neat
conversion and practical for his use. I've got a video up close explaining
how he put it together.. I should upload sometime. Thanks for this vid!
