Thanks and I was looking to buy a jdm engine but should I go another route? Maybe Craigslist or something safer to rely on? And that is a pretty good budget you worked with, how's the car now? And thanks for responding unlike the other 5 people I commented on and didn't reply lol

I have a 300zx but right now it's a na and I'm looking to do the swap do you have a ball park estimate of what it cost you to do the swap? And congrats on the first fire up could feel the excitement just watching the video

I'm really good at budgeting, so I got mine for under $2200 then I sold my old shell for 600 and bought a new one with 83k on it for 850 so engine wise, 2200. And if you buy a jdm engine, I strongly suggest doing a leak down test before you install it. Because I had to rebuild mine because of it :/

Awesome Man! I haven't watched any of your video's in a long time, I remember the old merc and your winter drift videos. Good to see you moved on to bigger better things. Just got into my first JDM car as well, 1992 Toyota Soarer 1JZ-Gtte (twin turbo). Set up the 360 and play some Forza 4 sometime haha. Is Team Aero on Forza 5? (Ex1t)

I'm planning on manual swapping and single turbo, but I'm enjoying the auto, so relaxing and comfortable. Even though its Auto i can stand at 7000 in any gear, awesome for highway pulls.

probably not the best idea to start it up without everything connected might have caused some other problems with the engine for your sake i hope not, i spose we all get a little impatient sometimes though lol congrats man i hope your z gives you a little less trouble to get up and running right than my z caused me. If you get a chance you should watch some of my videos, i swapped out everything in mine it was a non turbo auto now its fully built twin turbo manual i even swapped the dif to a twin turbo

Cool! That's great news! Mine had to get modified for the wastegate, but otherwise should be good then! Did you do any special bracing or anything? How many miles since you've completed your swap?

That's neat. Is it still in the original position on the motor? Were any modifications required. What was all needed to be done to complete the swap besides motor mounts.
