I really wish people wouldn't refer to the NSDAP as "Nazis". National SOCIALIST German Workers Party, leftists. But somehow they get portrayed as right wing and part of that is because people think they were called Nazis, but they NEVER called themselves Nazis. Nazi was/is a bastardization of the first word of the NSDAP in German. If we referred to them by their proper name, EVERYONE would notice the word socialist right in the middle of their names, not to mention all of the socialist policies of the NSDAP.
