Welcome to one of many videos to come for my 2004 Chevy Silverado 2wd. Alot of you have seen nice trucks in their final form. Well come with me on this ...
Starting to install my body lift...I mentioned the fan risings of course I meant to say lowering. It will hit the bottom of the fan shroud so pull it off.
Travis. I just had a 3" body lift installed on my 93 f150. The hood and
fenders are completely out of line. The hood hits the passenger side fender
and I have a 1" gap on the drivers side. The hood has not been touched.
Doors shut fine and everything else is ok. The guy that installed it came
over and said I need new factory body mounts. The fender lifts are tilted
to the passenger side. I was just wondering if you had any problems. If
this is too long, don't worry about trying to answer. Thank you. Eddie
Man I hate to hear this but the guy just did it wrong....not to many older trucks are going to have great body mounts...that's why its always a good idea to stop by a hardware store and buy the largest washers you can find to help make up for the ones that are chewed up..or anything else creative will do...sounds like this dude did a really crappy job...can you send me any pictures..?...
