The Three Graces (Ford Consul, Zephyr & Zodiac MkII launch) - 1957
Made in 1957, this Ford film was made in a newsreel style to announce the launch of the new Consul, Zephyr and Zodiacs. It reports on the motor show staged ...
Hi, I'm Aussie, had a Mk 11 when I young it was a great car to drive but
the front steering & suspension was poor, it was still a better car than
our early Falcons, we also had a ute Zephyr, the Y block US Ford V8 would
bolt up to these and that made them a fast car, strange that the twin slave
cylinders on the front had the bleeder on the bottom ? you poms had some
great cars, but some where ugly like the cars arriving at the show, it's
all good as I am a car nut..
Oh WOW I just love this video. I can't wait for our 57 MK11 Zephyr Highline
to be fully restored back to exact original condition. We are half way
there, but it is costing a fortune and it is hard to find everything we
need. Thanks for sharing such a lovely historical video.
They are lovely cars all three of them i really love the consul it handles
so well dont get me wrong about the other 2 they do as well but the Consul
is the one for me add me on youtube please three graces owners only sorry
A powder blue Ford Consul convertible has always been a fantasy for me, I
just love the tail light design on these early Fords. The Zodiac chrome
trim and tail light assembly also very swish.
I remember the launch of these models and visited Dagenham works on a
school trip to watch the assembly. The styling was based on the early US
Ford Thunderbird.
On a recent road trip into the Mountains I came across an excellent specimen of an old sleeper car. Come check it out with me! Send this to your Foamer friends ...
Because there is nothing for teens, or kids, to do anymore, and nearly as
hard to work due to lack of jobs for them to do. Even 20 years ago, I would
have been 14, I had places like arcades to go and I worked most of the
summer with the city making decent money. Now some kids have no motivation
to work or cannot just due to how bad things around them have become, and
of course bad parenting as well. It is sad to see mindless destruction.
cool man, as a kid we found an old wooden caboose back by the bush. we
cleaned it all up and made a fine clubhouse outa it.then the big kids found
it and trashed it!! fricken losers!! sheesh!! would imagine its gone back
to the earth by now great vid dude
I don't know what it is that make so many people destructive as teens. It
is an unfortunate phase. I hope you have good memories from that old
caboose.

V6? Ya *sure* about that? I had '93 much like that and it had an I6.
Mine was even white too. (It had a tan interior, though.)
Psst... CD changers *are* players. The distinction between that changer and
the single player there is the term *"single"*, as in "single CD player."
You're welcome, +Joe Swanson (Alpinerider1), even though that was for Cereal Marshmallows so that he would fix those things on his video, using annotations at least, even though the truck is likely long-gone.
I have the 95 i6. 300k miles on it. Heads are shaking now. Rebuild is
required. My dad got it new, he passed so it's my turn to continue using
the truck. Challenge accepted! Nice truck.
@idRATHERbeOUTDOORS - Yes, we have been to Sleigh Bells in Sherwood many
times. When I was a resident in Emergency Medicine and early on our return
to Portland after the Navy we would get our tree and Christmas decorations
at Sleigh Bells. Our Christmas tree stand was purchased from Sleigh Bells.
It is a heavy duty powder coated stand made from well casing. If memory
serves it was made locally.
I also grew up going to a farm like this. My wife has always had a fake
tree since shes a city girl from chicago, can't wait until our daughter
gets a bit older to where we can pick out that perfect noble fur once more
and relive some childhood memories. Merry Christmas!
oh man... real tree smell! A good old fashion tree farm is definitely one
thing i miss about being back east. Thankfully though... I can still get a
live tree (just not fresh cut) from the local boy scouts troop. Merry
Christmas Guys!
@beast12101 - very astute of you to pin up the vacuum packing comment . . .
that way Kelsey will for sure know the package comes from home ;-) Merry
Christmas to you and your family . . . be safe during your Central Oregon
travels!
@ChristopherWalkenPUA - very true about the sap . . . I had a bit on my lip
after I took a smell of that slice . . . wasn't until after a bowl of warm
soup that it finally disappeared! Merry Christmas to you and your family!
@drzmanproject - time does seem to fly . . . Kelsey is doing great during
her first year and her Dad is slowly adjusting to her being away from home
;-) Merry Christmas to you and your family! Be safe . . .
@idRATHERbeOUTDOORS - it is a very cool spot . . . nothing like a small
family business to anchor you to our traditions and past ;-) Merry
Christmas to you and your family!
@MyDaddysgirl44 - LOL back at you! I should have known that if I read your
name closer. My apologies. Kelsey is a Daddy's girl so she will get a kick
out of that ;-)
@jbadaluco - I am hoping for snow as well . . . something very special
about those first snowflakes that start to fall ;-) Merry Christmas to you
and your family!
@markbeermonster - Thank you Mark. Always makes me smile to get a message
from across the pond. Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year to you and
your family.
great stuff, doc. we are hoping for some snow so our family can make its
annual outing to cut down a fresh christmas tree. the kids love it and i do
too.
Wow, time flys, It doesn't seem a year since I saw your video last year.
Merry Christmas Dave and Family from across the pond All the best Mark -

@TheDocGary - I used to live back east, just south of Boston so always nice
to hear from a New Englander! 73 and Merry Christmas to you and your family!
@USNERDOC Have you been to Sleigh Bells, in Sherwood. It is very
interesting and they have a lot of cool Christmas stuff.
Old Neglected Ford Truck.
Just an old Ford truck that was left in the back 40 This Video contains My Theme music which I own all rights to. It was written and performed by Warren Hartz.
I guess somebody is going to leave there until a tree falls on it and
provides an excuse to scrap it. Too bad. Oh and, nobody...I mean
NOBODY...puts ketchup on a hotdog...so you're cool, lol.
I had to take out the lock to repair and decided to show whats happening when rotary knob gets stuck . In my case , i could have probably unhooked the yellow ...
Nice explanation. But you have to get the lock out. if it is locked shut,
do as I did. Take off the inside panel and short two of the wires to
unlock. Then clean the contacts on door and frame.
thanks buddy you have just helped me out big time thanks for putting this
