Grow Old With Me – Kaiser Permanente TV Commercial (60 Secs)
Life is made of moments. Some big, some small, some sad, some gleeful. There are moments that seem insignificant that you remember for all your life. And then ...
I feel more younger generations need to take care of their own parents.
They should think ahead and make away, not throw them into nursing homes.
Most people don't even know how they get treated. Especially if they can't
think or talk any longer. Just think about it, weren't they there for you,
didn't they have to work while rising you? I took care of my parent, it was
just returning the favour. We all get old and don't want to be thrown
around like old rags. Most people take care of their animals better than
their parents. This is pitiful. People weary about homes, cars, clothes,
jewelry, material things, we don't get to keep these things, and your
children sale them because they didn't have to work for them. But in the
end their children see how they treated their parents and treat you the
same, this is the way we are teaching our children. What goes around comes
around remember this.
Had to look this up because I thought that Mr eyes had deceived me. I
walked past the TV when, in a glance, I thought I saw two guys and a
wedding ring. I am so glad that I was not wrong. Thank y'all so much for
this, because portrayal is so vital to so many people, and I for one can
say that my day has been made better by this commercial.
I'm a big fan of the large diversity of families shown in this ad. I smiled
when the lesbian parents showed up at 21 seconds. It's a sign advertising
is going in a good direction :3
Lance Lambert, host of The Vintage Vehicle Show, visits Ed Johnson at the Dock Street Garage and takes a close look at his 1955 Kaiser Manhattan 2 Door.
In Richard Langswoth's book on Kaiser Frazer, "The Last Onslaught on
Detroit" he said the reason the Olds engine was not used was that GM raised
the price of the engine to the point it was not economical. There was a
fire at the Hydromatic transmission plant in 1953 which lead to Kaiser
selling their Willow Run Plant to GM.
By the way, my father bought a new 1953 Olds Super 88. It had the V8 and a
stick shift. Some Oldsmobiles may have been build with Buick Dynaflo
transmissions till Hydromatic production was back up.

@nottavailable To me putting anything Chevrolet into a Kaiser,Studebaker,
etc. is insulting. Growing up my Dad drove a 1954 Kaiser Special. He bought
it new and kept it for 9 years, trading it on a 1963 Studebaker Cruisier.
Mom tells me while rode nice it was underpowered for its size.
nice car sad to see gutted with a 350 chevy engine though, When it sells
the kaiser fraser club has many wonderful resources to help put it back to
orig.
