Let me make things clear: Chinese can only earn less than 5% of the profit of the products. the rest of it get into american capitalist's pockets. but what do they do with this money, create jobs for americans? don't be silly, they just lend it to you as a debt. they are running the country so they are not afraid that this debt be defaultered. as you are their debt slaves, they arm you and send you to fight to make a profitable environment for them, but for you, only death and hatred of others

Why the labor is so cheap? Those workers are from the poor west of China and they are really happy with $2/hour wage. If you don't believe me, go and have a visit before you make a judgment. The value of Chinese dollar is what the U.S. can pick on. When the Chinese dollar appreciate high enough, the U.S will blame us on buying out American Corporations with those Chinese cash. We simply just work hard. I challenge you guys to work as hard has we do. Please, don't eat donuts then blame others.

Who stole American jobs, the Chinese? No try again as we created this monster not them. This country is run by corporations and special interests which would sell their own mother if it meant making a profit. Not to mention that what many people outside the U.S. don't seem to understand as well is this. When the cost of living (inflation) is higher then what one makes in their job. You can't blame people for asking more? Try living here making under $10 a hour and see how far that gets you.

Secondly America isn't as rich a country as people make us out to be. Most people I know have 2 or 3 jobs just to make ends meet. If you are looking to Hollywood as a reference you are a fool. There are fewer millionaires in total in this country then there are people in my state. If that doesn't give you idiots a clue as to how far the gap is between the rich and the middle class then I don't know what will. We have no right blaming China when we can't even keep our own house in order!

Being homeless and you expect some people to have an ethic or an incentive, but hey some people need a fairy tale like God to get them by while they still live in a cardboard box. China, Bangladesh, India, Ecuador, etc., did not steal jobs in USA -- US jobs were off-shored by Wall Street US Corporations, aided by US Congress and leaders of the "bottom-line profit:" Capitalists of USA since the Wal Street US Corporations REFUSE to pay Americans proper wages as the US government and Wall Street IMPOSE on other countries the "drive to the bottom" in wages. Advocacy of unlimited bank bailouts and "quantitative easing" is nothing but an elaborate Ponzi scheme.

China has 1.3trillion people,only very few of them ever eat dogs.As Chinese,I can swear to god that I've never,ever eaten dogs.Such kind of news is misleading and subjective.There is also news about a college student from US killed and ate his neighbors,but I would not think all americans eat human beings.With respect to dog eating issues,I think there is much higher pencentage among Koreaners who eat dogs in winter.

by the way , the size of the population is far behind for american , so . i think there is no resson to competed with . US already so developed and china need more power to reach the level of america , even though the american loos their jobs but the citizens wages and salary is damnd higher than chinese , most of chinese still admire the dream life in america .

And that`s why you don`t deserve a shitty wage. The American, chinese, and other corporate entities who own those businesses are still taking what you and other workers worked for and you get pennies back for a lack of better words. They just blood suck people to death because they don't want to do it themselves so they get other people to do it.

Yeah, but they forget to mention Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malasia, Phillipines, and all the manufacturing nations. And that Corporate America do make money from imports. Basically investors make money sitting on their ass, and all the jobs are lost. middle class americans are losers without jobs.

China simply buys a company in the Us and Canada. Then pack up all the factory tools and ship them to china. that's what they have been doing for many years. Buy it shut it down ship it out. Once the tools and equipment is gone there goes the jobs and there goes future industry. 

The tittle "Is China stealing American jobs? ". The tittle should be "Which American CEOs signed the dotted line and exported American manufacturing jobs to China,Mexico,Vietnam,Philipine,India etc?" That is why the 1% rich gets richer and the 99% gets the shit end of the sticks.

And if America defaults, which it absolutely can, China's GDP will plummet. Essentially, they're two guys chained together on a tipsy rowboat. If one falls, the other goes under as well. And yet here they are fighting each other and trying to push one another off...

yea and not everyone can go to college and get high paying job. there limit how many people can be in them jobs. you can go to college and get agree but when you look for a job for that they mostly be full and mostly like pay you under $9 a hour for a 2k salary

Naming China a currency manipulator will do absolutely NOTHING. We've repeatedly called Iranians terrorists and have they stopped their nuclear program? We call Fidel Castro a dictator has he stepped down? Romney is just peddling his stupid feel-good bullshit.

American companys will use and abuse to make a buck for their own pocket. Its greed. A good way is for americans to stop buying from american china companys. This means cars-phones-lights ect. Dont think the politics can force companys to come back to the US.

China = scapegoat. There are other countries that will take China's spot such as Cambodia, Vietnam, Mexico, etc. Its the US govnt that is unfriendly towards their private companies and the damned labor unioms that piss those private companies off.

Americans should make all things by themselves, then they won't lose any job. They will have better life, they will still have blue sky, they need't do the international business with Asian countries. By the way, what a stupid question.. 

You can't give good prices when they are willing to LOSE MONEY on each object manufactured.  You can't sell in China if they tax you and apply protectionism.  You can't sell in the U.S. if China is always willing to undercut you.  China's debt is through the roof.  And yet, we owe them.  They borrowed like crazy (from their own people) to put us into debt to them.  One of these days they'll re-institute socialism, they're already starting to do it.  They're 'reducing' the number of solar manufacturers by closing the inefficient ones.

Thanks for your answer.Even if the taiwanese accent is bit harder to understand than the one of mainland China and that I mainly know simplified characters,I would prefer to go to Taiwan because the country seems much more democratic and also the freedom of speech is much more bigger at least it is what I heard.What do you think? I would like to work for the French Alliance wether as a French teacher/assistant or as librarian/documentalist (my job).

+jb youngfr French teacher is not the majority in Taiwan, but there are some. I also know some french people in Taiwan but they are not teacher, they are engineers. :)

+skypon8 Hi, you asked a very good question. Usually engineers and English teachers are well paid in Taiwan. An English native tutor can get around 1000NTD per hour, if it's a full time job, it's probably around 60000-80000NTD per month. As to the engineer, it's also around that amount of salary per month, but plus free air tickets to their own countries each year, and free housing provided by the company. However, working as an engineer in Taiwan isn't easy, because it requires certain skills, and most of my foreign engineer students, they got their job in their own country first then sent to Taiwan for work. (it's easier then applying for an engineering job in Taiwan)~ thank you for the question, I hope this answer helps! :)

not really~ this video is just simply talking about top 4 jobs in Taiwan for foreigners. Maybe having an English teaching job at a cram school is easier, but if you wanna teach English at a public school, then that's another story~ for engineers, most of my engineer students, they usually belongs to a foreign company (from their own country) and their company send them to Taiwan for technical support at the big company in Taiwan such as, TSMC... ~ as for foreigners having a job in China, i'm not really sure, but i can ask my friends there for you :)
