Basic hearsay..I have yet to see any real proof that there is that much radiation and hot particles spewing out of 3 reactors. I have alot of friends on the west coast. Many of them eat out of their own gardens. Not one of them have seen anything or felt anything unusual. That must mean all of this is b.s. because there has been enough time for some sign to show itself and so far there is absolutely nothing but some people that i do not now or trust saying the opposite of what i see for myself.

Right, but it takes scientific method and knowledge to actually interpret readings. This "Bozo" has shown (by his use of % higher than background) that he does not know how to use correct scientific terms, as radiation is not measured or compared in % higher than background. Scientists use a spectroscopy method that will identify isotopes and the Becquerel concentration in a filter. I was a research scientist for the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC) many years ago. AEC was split up into many departments long ago. I was "electronics" but they put me through radiation classes as they did all people in certain jobs. Operating a Geiger counter a four year-old can do. Turn it on and push the button! Best kind is newer types that have analog meter or digital meter. Takes training to interpret reading. Danger is level multiplied by time exposed. Info is on Internet.

Imagine what do you think would happen if they find out the radiation is off the charts. It seems to me that they would have to evacuate ALL citizens of Japan. I wonder where they would go. The problem just keeps snowballing out of control. I think it would be a great time to invest in a Geiger counter company because they are gonna sell a lot of them over the next few years. People are already measuring the radiation levels of their food over there and now here in USA.

With time fish and kelp and lifeforms concentrate the radionuclides still leaking out of Fukushima's contaminated rivers in the billions of becquerels range. If you are talking about Japan, the whole rocky country is earthquake prone. All the reactors are susceptible to earthquakes. Nuclear reactors vent radioactivity every day, & the majority of them have sprung leaks & eroded vessels here and there. That measurement of cesium was from 1 year ago in the tuna. They measured cesium but that's all - not the other possible tens and hundreds of radionuclides being spilled into the Pacific every day from Fukushima's contaminated rivers. Remember kelp concentrates the radiation 10,000 times. Who knows what Pacific fish are contaminated & to what degree.
