Apples are great but make sure you core them and ideally you should "throw"
in food processor. That way Roxy can really benefit from an apple. Also,
you should give her only sweet, really red and ripe apples. We are feeding
our puppy raw and apples and carrots were the first fruit/veggies we gave
him and he loves them! While he was teething, I used to give him a whole
carrot so could "scratch the gums" or I would slice the apple real fine and
stuff his KONG . I could have my coffee in peace :D
My two labs love apples. I used to give them whole apples which they would
love to play with before they ate them. Then I found out that the apple
pips are not good for dogs. Now I slice the apples...my labs love 'em, but
they're not as fun as the whole apples. It's a good thing that you didn't
let Roxy eat the entire apple. She's just adorable!
she's a bit like me, I tend to get apple on my eye even when its not me
eating the apple. I'm a big fan of Roxy, every day after school I'm
straight on my computer. She's so cute!! Unfortunately my mum doesn't like
dog so I cant get one but if I did get one I would love it as much as you
love Roxy Bear. :) sorry I`m British
Our 2 dogs love apples & carrots. I give them an apple every day. I core
them since I found out that the pips are toxic for dogs. They eat them in
record time...they're labs like Roxy...I don't know if they really taste
them they eat them so fast!
