TO MOOT POT PIE........ITS OBVIOUS YOU HAVE DONE NO RESEARCH ON THIS
SUBJECT BASED ON YOUR COMMENTS. A POLISH SCIENTIST UNEARTHED AFRICAN
SKELETONS AT OLMEC SITES.INDICATING CLEARLY THAT AFRICANS WERE THERE. THEY
UNEARTHED OLMEC POTTERY WITH AFRICAN WRITING ON IT. IT HAS BEEN FOUND THAT
THE OLMEC LANGUAGE HAS AN AFRICAN STUCTURE. YOUR COMMENTS ABOUT PHENOTYPES
SOUND REAL GOOD BUT THEYRE UTTER B.S.
Yeah ok get the fuck out of here with that afrocentric bull shit, the almec African theory is not true so please enough with your dam propaganda. I am sorry Europeans destroyed you African culture in africa and now you idiots have to go around trying to steal other cultures, well you are African so stealing is what you do best. don't ever step foot in mexico with that afro centric mentality.
There is no evidence to connect the Olmec with Africa, other than the
ancient central east African root of our species as a whole. Those who
mistake certain features depicted on the giant stone heads as depicting
"Negroid" west Africans are simply unfamiliar with Mesoamerican phenotypes.
Faces resembling the sculptures are still common in the region today,
particularly among the Tzotzil people. The cranial and facial shapes of the
sculptures are clearly non-Negroid. This is especially clear when viewed
from the side. Hopefully DNA testing of recently discovered Olmec remains
will be conducted to settle the question of Olmec Old World origin
conclusively . . . though those with self-serving racial agendas will
undoubtedly remain unconvinced.
+MooPotPie I was falling for your argument up until you revealed you certainly do have an agenda - "Afrocentric excrement" indeed. Far from an unbiased critical eye. Says all we need to know about your world views. Buh-bye
+Koala Man I have no racial agenda. and dismiss the entire concept of multiple races as 17th-century French pseudoscience. Those heads look like the Tzotzil to me. Considering that they depict their ancestors, it should come as no surprise. My only "agenda", as it were, is to counter the hostile, ignorant attempts at Mesoamerican culture theft by racist "Afrocentric" excrement.
+MooPotPie Talking of self-serving racial agendas - like your own? Hypocritical supremacy theorist. That's sad. The Tzotzil you speak of look like very little like these heads, noses and lips much thinner. You clearly do not know the wide range of cranial shapes emanating from Africa, ancient and present day. You must be thinking of African Americans, most of whom came from specific parts of Western Africa. Your agenda is quite obvious, too.
That basalt figure @ 2:20 *does not* have an "elongated" head! He is
wearing a hat, or more like a football helmet; it is a ceremonial
headdress. It reaches directly above his head.
+NibiruLives I speculate that these stone heads commemorate sports heroes and once adorned a ball court. All of the heads depict natural Mesoamerican cranial shapes. It is most likely that only the royal class would have had elongated skulls.
