Thank you for posting this video. I need help majorly and am seeking any
way to stop relapsing. I was clean from April - December 2014 and have
relapsed 6 times in 2 weeks on heroin. I have a wife and we want to have a
child but I feel hooked on the feeling of the high again and am terrified
of what's going to happen. I keep telling myself to stop and then I get
cravings and spend money on this junk. If you or anyone else has any other
personal experience on relapse prevention after initially relapsing advice
would be greatly appreciated
I would suggest PHP,IOP, or something like that. I personally don't use drugs. My unhealthy behaviors are with food and self harm. If you're not in therapy I would try that and if you don't have a psychiatrist I would try to get one. My cousin is an addict and he had to do a lot of hard work in therapy. You have to not only deal with the craving but the triggers of life. It's hard to deal with everyday stress and not want something to escape. That much I can relate with. If you're not in to 12 steps. DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy) My be something to look into
