I'd recommend adding Chinese Rice Wine to the marinade. Also you want the meat to come out semi crispy and the Chinese Restaurants deep fry all their meats. Give it a try next time you make this. The cornstarch in the marinade with give it a bit of crispiness. Just stir frying the beef with all the marinade liquid will result in steaming the meat which you don't want to do. One last tip. Make the sauce in a saucepan, add to the wok then add finished vegs and fried flank steak.

I love peper steak. I make mines with top round steak bell pepers amd onions soy sauce and just salt and peper i put all of that over a bed of wild rice.
