@matthewblessssss 17-50 is good lens for 550D . Good for start , why ? , that lens is good , cost is nice and is simple universal . I bought my 550D 4 months ago with 18-55 IS ef-s lens kit and in few weeks i wanna buy Canon 50mm f1.8 , for next year one flash , manfrotto tripod , homemade trolly , fig rig , led lamp 126 some battery packs and tamron 17-50 2.8 WITH STABILIZATION .
