Maybe you are right...WAIT A MINUTE, I just so happen to have a DICTIONARY
handy; let me check for the meaning of accident. "ACCIDENT" is defined as
such: "A happening that is not expected, foreseen, or intended". Okay, so
far so good, as far as far as it being classified as an "ACCIDENT"...all we
have to do now is to USE OUR BRAINS TO SEE WHETHER IT COULD HAVE BEEN
PREVENTED. Now, I don't know who you are, or what type of life you've
liive, but I raised 3 kids, and I KNOW THAT A 2 YEAR OLD..

... Now, why am I being so critical about these two? Because not ONE SINGLE
PERSON did any kind of investigation on this incident, nor was there any
COUNSELLING given to the parents as a result of this VERY PREVENTABLE
INCIDENT. This little girl LOST BOTH HER LEGS, yet these 2 have had MEDIA
COVERAGE(attention), 2 FREE prosthetic legs were provided for the child,
and a fund was set up to PREVENT THE PARENTS, not the child, THE PARENTS
FROM FINANCIAL HARDSHIP of paying the medical expenses...

Dad was mowing the lawn and the child was inside, being supervised by mom.
Suddenly, mom noticed she was able to run outside. Mom chased her, screamed
at dad to watch out, but because of the noise of the mower, he did not hear
her and backed over the child. Accidents like this can happen in a split
second, even in the best families. This country has become a nation of
helicopter parents and self-righteous nuts unwilling to understand that no
one can keep a child 100% safe 100% of the time.

..doesn't have the muscular coordination to out run a normal adult, so how
did this child out run the mother. Now, if THE MOTHER allowed the child to
wonder off in the yard TOO FAR to stop the child, THEN that would be a
question of CHILD-NEGLECT, now wouldn't it? You see, when listening to the
mother's B.S.story, she doesn't give a DETAILED DISCRIPTION of how far she
was from the lawn mower,BUT COMMON SENSE would dictate that you STRENGHTHEN
YOUR GRIP as your husband puts the lawn mower..

...the way the mother made it sound, it was like THERE WAS NO WAY TO
PREVENT WHAT HAD HAPPENED...it sounded as if the 2 year old, OVER POWERED
HER. Personally, I believe the MOTHER was inside watching t.v., or playing
video games, and the child opened the door and went outside. You'll notice
that the DADDY was almost completely SILENT about the whole think, but the
mother, just couldn't keep her mouth shut, whenever she was in front of a
camera,which suggest that she was able to easily...

......DOES NOT have the STRENGTH to PULL AWAY FROM THE GRIP OF THAT MOTHER,
or ANY MOTHER. Let's say THIS particular child does possess that level of
strength, what are the chances that this child possess the level of
STRENGTH to pull away from her mother, AND the SPEED to out run her
mother????????? Am I stimulating your brain to THINK, now? THINK,
annagitana, THINK, USE YOUR HEAD....2 parents against 1 two year old
child...2 against 1 You still thinking? A two year old, not 4, not 5,.

...suffocate her guilt, yet when you examine the father, GUILT CONSUMED
HIM. When looking at the video, you'll notice on one occasion, the father
was wearing a "WORLD'S BEST FATHER" tee shirt, while the mother was just
BLABBING AWAY on camera. Ask yourself, is that the PROPER TIME to wear a
shirt that BRAGS ABOUT YOUR ABILITY TO BE A PARENT??? Displaying this level
of guilt, and silence, then wearing this type of shirt suggest that this
was moren than likely the mother's STUPID IDEA...

...in REVERSE. Ask yourself, anna, if YOU were putting a RIDING LAWN MOWER
IN REVERSE, wouldn't YOU LOOK BEHIND YOU, before putting the mower in
reverse????? YES, we all make mistakes, but you are an IMBECILE if you
don't understand that SOME ACCIDENTS are MORE PREVENTABLE than others. Go
back and listen to the video of the mother's account of what
happened..."She just pulled away; she wanted her daddy...she just wanted
her daddy." This LIAR never said whether she RAN after her...

......this WAS NOT the child's fault, which is why I'm glad that THE CHILD
is getting something good out of this, but, other than the father feeling
really really bad for a few weeks...THEY TOTALLY GOT OFF, FREE. The scary
thing about this is they may even PROFIT off this whole thing, through
future interviews, and even a BOOK DEAL. In my opinion, these 2 parents
should have to work 2 jobs for 10 years to pay society back for their
incompetence

It is a shame how many children go through horrible accidents all due to
the TWO IMBECILES called parents
