Easy steps to use Inventor HSM - Basic - Chapter 2
There are a lot of "How-to" videos on Youtube( button clicks). In this series, we are also going to talk about the important "Why". That comes before the "How".
Hi Lars, you mentioned in your first video that you placed the part in an
environment (vise)... is there a tutorial to understand how this is done?
and how do you constrain the vise to the stock if the stock is defined in
the HSM part and the vise is (i suppose) an assembly? i guess you have to
set the stock first, then create another solid made with the stock
dimensions, then constrain that to the part, then constrain the stock to
the vise, and then remove the visibility to the stock.
But that is really long, is there a better way to do it without going back
and forth?
I am interested also in creating a small production run with multiple part
cuts on one single stock, does that imply some duplication, part layout on
the stock and some more thinking behind how you do the cuts?
Thanks alot, just learning here before deciding to buy my own mill for a
side project of mine! Very inspiring. Subscribed.
