HI I bought a LG 6710900010A remote control and it looks a lot like the remote control you have in your hand just slightly a bit different. This is the remote control I bought: //1013551.en.makepolo.com/products/remote-control-for-tv-universal-remote-p22290177.html I wonder how does one turn on to program the remote? And after that how does one auto search his device for example for the TV? Now I know that I need to press a button and see when the TV will shut down but what button is it and how do I turn on this auto search function? On auto search since I have no manual to it. NOTE: I tried MENU + MUTE at the same time and yes the red light for TV did stay on but when pushing any other button except POWER it went off back to normal without auto searching. When pushing POWER it looked like it auto searched but it never finds the channel for the TV. What is going on?

Two issues: 1) The link in the description for the codes PDF is no longer valid. 2) The remote we were given is an ADB brand but a different model. The programming method and/or codes (that I've found elsewhere) no longer seem to work.
