IGNORANCE is the reason HIV is so prevalent in ANY community. Here it is a endearing humane documentary on a OPENLY Gay man and his OPENLY Gay friend and comments of deception with females/women, lifts it's ugly head. I'm not Gay, nor am I a idiot to believe that a openly Gay man will/can deceive a female( or male for that matter) to pass on the HIV virus. First of all IDIOT, we are all responsible for protecting ourselves. Anyone irresponsibly engaging in RAW sex is responsible for ALL consequences incurred. Because it is virtually impossible to know for certain anyone you sleep with is HIV-/+, approach EVERYONE like they are positive and then you won't have to resort to the blame game. This is a short doc about the life of a openly Gay man, self-proclaimed "Screaming Sissy", doubt it if he wasted his time chasing unsuspected woman, just a thought.

As a 68 yo gay man originally from Clinton (relatively close to Kinston), I just found your video on IFD and am very impressed with your comments and memories. Had I only been able to meet another gay person while growing up in the homophobic southland, my life would have been so much different...and much happier...having only having the nerve to "come out" at 39! Thanks for sharing.

this is the exact reason hi is so prevalent in the black community undercover men sleeping around with unknowing women passing the HIV disease to them. How is this a great story some gay kid got aids and his friends used food stamps to help rise money for his ceremony.

You're just wonderful! I'm a Philly gay guy too, HIV poz (though I'm white). Those early years were nightmarish. So glad you're still here...to tell your story. So glad you became an activist,too. We will always need people like you.

This has nothing to do with the Gayborhood at all. This is garbage infesting the streets of Philadelphia. The only thing she had to say that made sense was "I am out of touch." Disgraceful. Get out of the Gayborhood because u don't represent it for what it is at all...She has so much to say & nothing to talk about. Garbage.
