Any reason why with Sony Xperia S (w/Bluetooth enabled, opened and
searching) my Golf with Premium aparat doesn't pair? Onboard computer says
a laconic "Phone not compatible". That's amazing. Prior to this phone, I
had a Nokia N8 and worked fine. And was older.
What I want to see from the German Car Technology is to integrate the
Bluetooth device and the sound system. When you play your ipod, iPhone or
any Audio Portable device with bluetooth it can pair the speaker input.
Hello my friend. Im driving a VW 2011 Tiguan and i use a samsung galaxy SII
cell phone. After a software update my cell phone did, i can't use my cars'
bluetooth connection anymore. It stucks when i put the password requested
by my car, on the cell phone. The answer of the VW technician is "sorry,
your car has the previous version of bluetooth and you have to change you
cars' system. The cost is 500 euros!!! Please tell me your opinion. Is my
car's or cell phone fault?
Looks like a phone has to be connected in order to get that menu. This
means if you lost the phone that is currently paired with the car you need
to add a new phone in order to delete the old one. Classic German nonsense.
Same as the "remote start" feature where it turns off as soon as you touch
the car. Very poor.
Hi Jay, thanks for that interesting video. I might guess this is the 2011
Tiguan. Is it also available for the 2008 Tiguan ? Is there another
procedure to delete any paired phone ?

Great video, even though this is like a year old. I was thinking of getting
dynamat or second skin for my car, but that stuff can be costly and I'm on
a budget as it is. How I found your clip, I typed in "insulating your car
door" and found your clip here. And after watching this, I'm gonna be
heading out to Home Depot in the morning and picking this stuff up. And the
one near me has like 4 rolls left, so I will be down there at 7am to pick
up 2 rolls for my car, lol! Great clip here, and thanks!
Thanks. I insulated the door and its AWESOME! no more cheap pinging sound.
Wasn't too hard and put a little video for folks with some tips if they are
doing it at home. Check it out under "slycat67". Any thoughts on adding it
to the space under the bench seat in the back? I only ask because there is
a 1" - 2" gap behind the bench and the back compartment of the Westy. I
just don't want vapors escaping and making it stinky! Thanks!
Chris, Any tips for sound proofing a '86 Westy? Need to do the doors. looks
tougher than your classic bugs due to the door frame design. Also, any
concerns with smell if i use Quick Roof on my storage compartment on the
back seat? There is a gap between the seat and the storage area and don't
want it stink up the van. Thx
Chris, A question? I am following UR sound deadening, on a Karmann Ghia. Is
it OK to use this sound deadener on the car's tunnel? Or will that
interfere with the carpet fit? Also can I use 2 layers in the package tray
area? Thanks...
Thank you Chris for your tip on this material. I have done this to the
inside of my 57 Ragtop and that tinny sound is gone and sounds like a solid
car like I was after. Well as solid as a ragtop can be .
@corbinstreehouse Great video thanx for the tip. We do short instructional
cilps for classic vws also. check it out, maybe it will help you with your
car.
