I like the term iPhone 5 originally with the original iPhone, 3G then 3GS it felt like they didn't know what to name it but since the 3GS to 4 transition it feels like they have the iPhone 4,5,6.. Etc then a spec boost every year for people on a contract about to upgrade to avoid moving to android etc. so they release an iPhone every 2 years and a minor update every middle year to keep up with hardware standards. I wouldn't be surprised for a 5S then a 6 then 6S etc. who knows? Thats how it loo

I have had every iPhone on its relase date. but im nt that excited about this one. yes we have been waitng along time but I think the best thing about the releases is the unknown. Now it just seems like we already knw what they will produce. mabey if there is a crazy update with it that n one saw comin it would be cool but for me its like waiting for a movie to come out tht i seen on the internet already. like case 39 that movie sucked by the way

1) Its just called the iPhone.. Not iPhone 2G. The original "3G" represents the new tech inside the iPhone with 3G connection. 2) You said major release with significant changes to the design. There was no change in design from iPhone 3G to 3GS and iPhone 4 to 4S. 3) By definition "Major release" assumes there are minor releases.

It wasn't called the iPhone 2G when it was released, it was just a name that the community gave it when the iPhone 3G came out. It is called this because it uses the 2G network instead of 3G.

actually technically iphone 5 is the wrong name since it's the iphone 6th gen so it's the iphone 6 not 5, so calling the iphone 6 is wrong so just call it the iphone HD

I bought two on Jan 9th. They said "Available to Ship: 5-7 business days" on their website. But they shipped on Jan 27th. Terrible, terrible, terrible services. What's more, I paid another $ 42 for fast international service. I should receive between 4-7 days. But when I receive tracking number. I will receive after 9 days. No Credit! They have the worst service I ever meet. Don't buy it.
