@NaturalFork Yeh. Just got new lead ammo today which is twice as heavy,
hits even harder. Hopefully my new hunter powerbands will turn up tommorow
too, i'll make a new video of increased power :)
This is a tutorial on how to make a catapult out of cardboard. You need cardboard, a rubber band, pencil and glue. And that's it! And you can make this catapult ...
Would You Consider Ever Making Any More Of Your Greek Projects Like a Spear
or a Greek Gladius. It Would Be Really Cool 'Cause You Have A Whole Lot Of
Other Greek Projects.
Awesome video! Could you please show us how to make a nightingale blade or
bow from Skyrim too? I really want to cosplay as one but have no idea how
to go about making the weapons. Thanks!
I like how you say this is what works for you. There is alot of people who
will say one thing is wrong then you'll see another video completely
contradict that. Pinch the pouch not pinch, twist not twist, exc. There is
alot of different shooting styles and it's what works best for you. I still
try new stuff once in a while and if I had stuck to the way I shot when I
first started or took just 1 persons P.O.V. I wouldn't be near the shot I
am today. Really like your vids keep them coming.
Thanks for that John....I have made my own slingshot and am just waiting on
bands that I ordered on Amazon to get here lol. But yeah, I will put these
dimps on it and see what happens! (I'm also a newbie, any tips anyone,
em@il me at [email protected])
I agree withe Tony - that would be a good vid. A problem I have with this
method is being precise each time, remembering where the anchor point was
on the previous shot. I guess this improves with practise?
Thanks for a great tutorial video John. Your video probably saved me days
of frustration & fumbling around. I found my anchor point after about 1½h
of testing. cheers.
good tutorial john :) even soemone with no brain cells like me gets this
haa haa

How to Make a desktop Catapult - Cool DIY Science - potential energy - dartofscience
Many cool DIYs like this on the channel that you can do for FUN or even as part of a school project. Some are ORIGINAL and you will not see them anywhere ...
Building a catapult is simple, using a block of wood as a base, a plastic spoon as the arm, two push pins and a rubber band as the torsion energy. Assemble a ...
actually if you place 2 more tacks or small nails in the front, right under
the rubberband in such a way that the spoon can go loosely in between the
nails... you will be amazed how far the marshmallows will go!!! Because of
the resistance the nails create against the rubberband, and hence creating
more force and velocity!! Just did it today with my family!!
i've got an idea how he could make a catapult with just a spoon. stick it
inbetween his two chins an then pull it back. so far it can only fire over
his head. it's a working progress.

Oh hell, that's a slingshot! You can get a pretty nasty hunting slingshot
at Walmart for about $18... if you don't have access to a garage full of
power tools, and a lot of time to kill. Looks nice though. More power to
you, if you like making them. I thought you were making one of those
medieval catapults from the title. That's what I get for speaking American.
Hi John. I'll tell u a trick for hdpe. When u get done with fine sanding u
can use plastic glue to whipe a fine shinny finish. I worked with plastic
for nearly half my life. That stuff can't break ! It's in the lexan family.
It will bounce.
great vid as always pal!!!! can i ask if you could do one of your cool
chrony tests comparing thera gold double bands compared to double thera
black bands soon?(if your not to busy with the work mate),,that would be
great,,, cheers,,wayne.
hdpe is very strong. stronger then ply-wood imo. it will hold up to some
strong bands. i was using 6mm thick plywood on a pfs and had a very heavy
set of bands on it, even that held with no problem.
how powerful is your bandsaw? i was looking for one and at home depot they
carry one at 200$ with a 3000r/min... is it going to be fine for slingshot
making?
