I would say not. Or only as much as any person of any race limits themselves to dating there own race. The factor at play would be recognizing a guy like that, desiring a guy like that, appreciating a guy like that and most of all being attracted to a guy like that. They are plenty of black men like that that are just as single statically as the women who desire a guy like that. Why? Well 1/3 of the woman who want a man like that are still only attracted to guys that are not like that. Another 1/3 want a guy like that but they expect those kind of things like opening a door for them and getting them flowers and the kind of things he talks about as some kind of do course. It has nothing to do with the guy expressing his self and how he feels about her in that way as he gets to know her. It's not a matter of being attracted to a guy like that that does these things, they simply demand it in some type of spoiled way. Not being about showing who you is and getting to know her it's about proving and doing all things if you want to get to know her. The requirement thing will never work. Guys like that won't want to have to prove themselves they'll won't it to be recognized so they can express themselves. It has to be who he is and it has to be who you is. You have to genuinely be attracted to that. It can't be about what you want it has to be about who you are. If you have certain  expectations about what attributes and requirements a man must have before you give him a genuine chance; and the requirements is based on concepts about the type of person he is based on  the color of his skin before you cooperate with him on a intimate level then perhaps those are personal limitations and not the limitations of a race.

There are a lot of people who have and will die alone. It's a matter of statistics and opportunity more than our Creator pulling cosmic strings and negating free will.
