Nice , my G.F. Loves Chicken Tortilla Soup, so gonna hook her up with yours..awesome job.looks really good.Thanks and dont where you live ,but here in Cali ,Smart & final sells the tortilla strips in a package,but nothing like Homemade.

Hmmmm, I actually have no clue what you could substitute for Queso Fresco. You can always just leave it out and the soup will be just as good.

Betty, that was a squeeze of lemon you put in there. You said lime. Want to get out of peeling potatoes? I saw a You Tube video. Just take a knife and cut through the skin along the circumference of the potato. Boil whole in salted water. Take out of water and cool. Put fingers on either side of the potato, press, and pull the skin in
