as far as room that's tough...the ford taurus is the closest i can think of.  it's nice but its design is something that most people may not care for.  besides that, if you can spare some room i'd look at the avalon or hyundai genesis (which is coming out with a new design this year).  the buick lacrosse and lincoln mks are nice as well.

@shawnspeed3 The VOLT will sell and it will sell very well. Thing is, Electric cars are WORSE than gasoline cars because gasoline cars are more efficient in every single way. We use oil and coal to PRODUCE electricity. Because of the laws of thermodynamics, electricity is less efficient to produce and to transfer to homes. HYBRID cars and Electric cars are LESS efficient than gasoline cars and that's a fact. They require more energy to produce and studies show people drive them MORE.

@shawnspeed3 New technologies are postponing the day when the oil industry fails. Things like direct injection, MDS, V.V.T, research towards complete combustion and new configurations of the engines themselves are making internal combustion engines more efficient than ever. Besides, who wants a 3 cyclinder firefly? I can see what your saying, that we don't need all the power of a V8, but I don't think it will have that huge of an effect in the end.

It takes a big company to go under before they realize how lazy and uninspired their designs have been. Gm should have gone under. Why are they still building oversized cars with V8's? Have they been to the pumps lately? Oil is so unstable now and in the future, yet US companies still make the same mistakes! And another thing, a $45k Volt is not what folks with no job can afford! Did these CEO's forget how to balance a working man's checkbook?

@shawnspeed3 I drive an S550 and an SRT8 that get less than 15mpg. I don't care about the gas cause I LOVE MY FUCKING CARS. There are people out there who have enough money not to give a shit about the gas price. And keep in mind, that there is currently NO SHORTAGE OF OIL. We are just getting ass fucked by OPEC, politicians and government policies.

@shawnspeed3 GM and Chrysler will eventually adapt to the downsizing and underpowering of engines. But, the reason they went bankrupt wasn't because they didn't have cars people wanted. It's because people didn't have fucking credit. EVER SINGLE AUTOMAKER'S SALES WERE CUT IN HALF during the credit crisis.

I'm actually surprised that this "simple slideshow" made so many hits. According to adsense it is one of my top "click" videos which means people are watch the commercials and going to the website. Thus far, this video has made $648.09, but it's still averaging over $3.88 a day!
