The Preachers Wife Soundtrack is the best selling gospel album of all time,
with 6Million plus sold worldwide, not to mention the countless Kirk
Franklin and MaryMary albums that ouldsold this album by twice. It doesn't
take anything away from this stellar album, or the impact it had in the
black community at the time.Just, the title of best selling gospel album of
all time hasn't belonged to this album in decades.

+Leki Jolo I've heard it alternately referred to as the best selling traditional gospel album, or the best selling live gospel album of all time - probably to differentiate from what you just mentioned.

Aretha is the Queen Diva. Love all her music, no matter what. I wonder who
would be getting the money if this is released. She should have the right
not to have the film released, she must have a reason. The most important
part is the fabulous music and we have that so let it alone, have some
'respect' .

+Mattie Allen she own the album of her own rights and video but if they have copies of it then why she is fighting not to release i have no idea but the gospel fans like you and i would be in favor of a real treat to witness this first LIVE recording sessions i think everyone who is a fan of this album will moan out a sigh of relief if it is ever release

So, the Queen of Soul has blocked the inaugural viewing of the film, so no
telling when we may see it, now. Good for her. She was probably not in the
mix for the profits once released.

+TkMeBk maybe it was her wild hair days back in the times but no it should be release reguardless she does not own the atlantic recordings studio who jump start her career she should remember where she started it and her fans who wants so badly to have this film to be release

+Hollie Jennings this is not about money Atlantic Records made had made some decisions without her this is why she is doing it i do not agree with but who are fans of this best of recording album should be definitely release but if she is wanting money of it then shame on her cause christians do not suppose to accept that

+Lwize i have a change of heart but not this best of The Complete recordings of Aretha i do not get why she is fighting to not be release this would be a real treat to us all to witness first recording Gospel Live album ever
