great video. I just saw the show in Chicago and on the monitors you could
see Nils' fingers. Great camera shot and different perspective. By the way,
the last minute of Nils' solo sounds just like his solo in Youngstown, but
thats OK, they are both great solos, as well as his solo on Because the
Night during the last tour. Nils is great, but Morello is even better at
this solo, which can be seen on youtube in Anaheim. Thanks Bruce for
another great show.
And most of you never guessed at the talent Nils Lofgren has had his whole
life! After leaving Neil Young's band and joining Springsteen -1985- he
spent a couple of years where you could see him solo, do flips, etc., and I
*think* it's while Bruce wasn't yet as good on solos, but after that, maybe
he cut back so as not to look like competing with the Boss.
Now this is why you'd like to play in the E Street Band-the Boss encourages
you and takes a delight in your creativity and success-compare to the ratty
Mick Jagger who owes all his success to Keith.By the way,did Mick corner
the Botox market?
They're different, and I ever prefer Nils. Tom did it twice I think, and
that was cool, but it was the same tricks. It was actually less exciting
the second time because his "moves" were so similar. I don't know, Nils is
a great fretman.
Funny you should ask. Search for the new YouTube video called NILS LOFGREN
GUITAR SOLO REDUX You will see my video edited to the snake cam video by
Fender. It looks like he has a pick attached to his thumb.
yes I did,,I was there for the Oct 3rd and Oct 9th shows,,,it was a dream
come true for me..I am hoping Bruce does some shows in the NEW Giants
stadium next year or soon after,,I will be there !!!
There has to be more to this life than ISIS, Republican, Democrat, etc.,
etc. The possibility of an afterlife is the one thing that truly gives me
hope. I believe that there are some spirits or souls who get caught up
here. There is something from their lives they can't let go of. I wish them
well and hope someone or something can help them move on.
+Michelle B I like to believe the infinite is the true reality, that this life is an experience for the purpose of learning what is truly spiritual. It is comforting to hear from like minded people who see another reason for life, that is, other than feeding one's ego. Be well in your journey.
this is creepy iv had that once at old school my freind got pushed of a
slide and nobody but him was up there i was recording and i caught a black
figure what is it?
With all your experience in this, I wonder why you use the word "creepy".
Do you take an interest in this just because you like to shudder and be
scared of creepy things or are you someone in really interested in
researching this kind of phenomen. One would think that by now, you would
have moved on from the perception of "creepiness" to , "Hey, this is
interesting."
+Channel Even the most seasoned investigator can be creeped out... Being creeped out or scared comes with the job... And of course its interesting or why in the heck would we be doing this... right.....right?
+Channel Good points. I have evolved way past the word in a way, yes. After witnessing so many things that cannot be explained, it changed the way I look at everything. I do this because I am performing research to hopefully someday form a solid hypothesis. I also love things that are scary and make me freaked out. -David
