At least you had cool New Wave music, MTV (if your market had it yet), and
lots of Atari 2600/Colecovision/Intellivision games, and shopping malls
were cool places to be. A lockdown today? Probably mostly wasting time on
social media.
I was ten years old during that 1982 season.....that strike SUCKED. No
football on Sundays for eight weeks. The weirdest playoff system I had ever
seen in which 16 of the 28 NFL teams participated.
