what's your opinion on the reliability of the air suspension? it seems like
an expensive addition (over $1500 according to ram website) if it's going
to be hard to maintain.

+david senne If they use generic air bags it won't be that bad. Main components are the compressor and the air bags themselves. The air bag in the air ride seat in the Case tractors leak once in a while. Case wants over $400 for one but heavy truck drive shops can get me the same bag for $70. If Dodge decides to make one specific to them, you are stuck paying stealership prices! There is not much you can do about the cost of compressors. Definitely test drive ones with and without the air bags and see if the cost is worth the comfort
