He raped someone. He violated and abused someone and it's something the victim will have to live with forever. He obviously doesn't care and doesn't want to remember, Tyson also hopes you don't remember and will help support him financially. It was good he was called out on it.

I don't think anyone who turns a blind eye to Rob Ford's binge drinking, abuse of crack cocaine, homophobia and sexism is going to suddenly get up in arms about him meeting with 'a convicted rapist'. Mike Tyson may be many things, and I'm not defending his character (although I think he's more misunderstood and intelligent than he is credited), but Tyson is undoubtedly a celebrity for his work in movies, as well as his brash persona and legendary boxing career. He's a larger than life character, much like Ford, and it is silly to think that meeting with him could in any way 'hurt' Ford's chances. Tyson is also known to be a sensitive individual and this interviewer was an idiot asking an antagonistic question like that. He's lucky he got away with only a tongue lashing.
