Did you guys make copies of the mounts? I just don't want to reinvent the wheel if you guys are selling the mounts. If you made copies and are willing to sell at a reasonable price...I am interested.

+d1001more I have had an iPad installed in my 2011 Silverado for about a year now and it is absolutely hands down better than any head unit I have seen out there and I bought 2 very expensive head units and installed them before I decided to do my iPad install. It should work just as well with an Android tablet. Check out my video (just click on my picture to the left) of my truck if you want to see how my truck turned out.

+Tim datoolman I am can't believe this hasn't caught on yet. You buy a 40k truck with a $1500 factory radio , I'm talking touch screen and all the bells and whistles. The technology and interface is garbage, I would absolutely love to replace it with a 2-3 year old nexus tablet. It's been years since I have messed with car stereos but you used to be able to buy brackets for practically any radio for any car. Is this just too awesome to mass produce.

You are probably looking at around $600 to $800 for an iPad "mount" if you could find one pre made but most likely you will have to make it or have someone make it for you at around $800 and up right now as no one is manufacturing them yet.

+d1001more As of right now you have to custom mold an "iPad kit" from "soundman" (on YouTube) or if you want to get an iPad kit cheaper you can get one from Fifield Fabrications on line like I did.
