Great endeavor but my big issue is this arbitrary rule in Christian
publishing that profanity is not allowed. I'm a Christian & I'm writing a
fictional account of the journey my wife and I experienced with infertility
and the adoption of our daughter. You can be SURE that some choice words
were used along the way, some of which which are included in my novel. I
believe it's simply a disservice to the reader to wipe all that
authenticity out so that people can pretend to keep their ears clean.
Wondering about my 13-year-old son and how to encourage him in his writing.
I truly believe he has incredible potential. I'm an "editing" type myself,
not the writer-type, but he already has a trilogy planned out and is trying
to begin to write his first book. We can't afford your school... so what
would you suggest?
My 13-year-old son has already planned out a trilogy and has begun writing.
I would love to encourage him and have him learn the "right way," but we
aren't able financially for him to attend your CWG courses. Any suggestions?
Such a great idea! If I can swing it, I'm in! Thank you for reassessing
your views on self-publishing to help those of us who don't have a
platform, but have something to contribute.
