Right, okay. The reason Mitch leaves all of his friends when he was a football hooligan was because he had slept with another girl that was black, and got her pregnant. And that woman who he got pregnant threatened to tell Mitches other girlfriend, which was the white woman. So then he had to leave his friends without letting them know so he could get away with his white girlfriend without her knowing he impregnated the black woman. Later on he has a white kid, with his white wife. Later on realising that the son he abandoned is Adam Shenko and that he is the leader of a chav gang, and that he also killed Mickey. But he only realises this when he goes to confront Adam at Adams Mothers old house. Which Adam lives in. When they are sat in Adams house and he puts the gun to Mitches head. Mitch realises that Adam was the boy he had with the Black Woman. Then giving Adam a chance to start again leaving this life behind. And because Adam doesn't want to they have a huge fight with all the old Football hooligans, and the 21st century Chavs. And Adam shoots Mitch, because he hates him for abandoning him as a kid, and also wanting him to run away and start fresh.

I think it was because of the late release in France, didn't make it into the list of best picture by country of last year. But I think it has possibilities for the academy awards next year.

Behind the Candelabra was a TV Film, so there's no way that could get a nomination for picture nor for performances from its cast. But it got nominations for the golden globes. But I agree it's such a good film.
