Many thanks from me too. I did not know this composer - his is a name to be reckoned with. These sketches are immensely accomplished and wonderful to listen to. Especially the 4th movement which is really majestic and impressive. Great Amenrican music. Thanks again !!!

it feels like a song of extreme joy, at the beginning of the song the person is overjoyed they're spinning around in circles so fast that at 1:09 they fall on the ground lie down and try to enjoy that happiness quietly and reflect

I can't say I share your point, but I respect it. However I do feel at many parts of the song that there is grief and despair like at 1:15 and also at the very first seconds into the piece.
