I can confirm that this works on Xbox!! I watched this video earlier after I rage quit this mission. I was stuck on this mission for ages. I tried this mission with your tactic, in huge disbelief that it would work. I left at the same time as you and everything and did it on my first try. Although I believe I expierenced a few more enemies and more gun fire. But, I didnt die and I only had to kill about 12 enemies. Whilst before I was killing loads and using airstrikes but getting no luck at all. I also recieved a checkpoint too, unlike how my previous experiences were like. Thank you, I was stuck on this mission for ages and I would definately still be stuck on it, if it wasnt for your video!

Yeah, I can verify that it's veteran. I was stuck trying to beat this three minutes of the game for an hour last night. Then I watched this video, and did what he did, and I got to the next checkpoint on my FIRST TRY! I couldn't believe how easy it was. I made sure I had the same weapon, because I thought it might have a longer sprint time, but I don't know. The main trick is to just haul ass before the enemy can get you, and pause near the fence to let the enemy pass to the right before you go

i did it by bombing the barn (as usual) than i ran up to the road, bombed it and ran a little back, then when it was over i slipped around the house on the right, and headed down the big radio tower, and onto the main road. ( i jumped a few cliffs, but whatever) THen i proceeded to run down the road to the big church with the lookout, and slipped inside the church. I went through the other side, ran down the forestty hill bit and was first place in beating everyone else to the helicopter vete

thanks i wish there was a window at 0:04 because i could just use M24 and snipe them all before they even come so i could hurry it faster but i have been stuck on 2:24 for like hours....if i go right i get gang banged from far and from near and if i go left same thing happens and if i try to run away they start shooting at me together slowly as my health starts to go thanks man my only missions only done on hardened and not vetran are "one shot one kill" and "mile highclub"

there is also a good way to walk down the left side but that takes a little bit longer i would say. because you have either to kill many of enemies or you have to run a lot farer. But your way was ewual to mine that i figured out. It was funny because i tried it on every difficulty and veteran was much easier than Soldier or mercenary for me because i knew how they attack.

Not only did this work beautifully on 360, but it caused me to reach checkpoints that had simply not occurred before. Every time prior to this method, I had gotten 2/3 of the way down the hill (or less), died, and returned to the checkpoint where this video starts. With this method, I got 2 extra checkpoints along the way, which is awesome. Thanks so much.

Thank you so much! got this through veteran with 1:19 to spare until the Chopper arrived lol I was so scared and my adrenaline was at the roof when the chopper wasnt there and I heard the enemies so close by lol. Took about 4 tries with this strategy once again thanks for this awesome walkthrough Im subbing for this help. My platform was Xbox.

your method did help for the first part, but either you where one gogly son of a gun or your game buged, i dunno, but i got 10 times more ennemies than you, after like 12 shot i finally manage to find a path where i could had not too much ennemies and with a lot of luck i finally was able to finish that mission... at last.

I have been stuck on this level for ages!! I have been getting very frustrated by this level. I decdied to look to see if there was a tutorial and found this video. Your way looks easy, I am taking a break to calm down first, but then I am going to do what you did and hopefully I can then do this level.

Helped a lot. The first time I got a lucky checkpoint near the Heli. I got in the Heli and threw some frags out to celebrate, then I got reset for 'Friendly Fire'. :( But I kept going and finally did it using this method. Thanks a lot. :) Zack, XBOX 360.

@lcm007 are you sure that your playing on vetran????? cause i can clearly see that this is played on vetran, look at the shots he's taking, its nearly killing him... how come you cant notice that if you are yourself is playing on vetran!

man down! obviously!!! take cover! DUUHHH!!! in all smartness. you dont chase snipers. especially when they are camo! your just looking to get sniped again. or liable for ambush. when shooting at the enemy. aim for the enemy not the ground. looks mor realistic. the most orginization was bording the heli at the end. these movies should be made like essays. rough draft then edit. then final draft.

i found the helicopter bit very good even though the parts are from two different maps it looks like its from the one map also if you guys told him whats wrong with the movie then maby he will get better insted you jut say epic fail.....thats like saying to somone you suck at playing this game...but they dont know how to play and you dont show them

ya props for the execution and stuff I know it's all hard, but ya the voice acting could be a lot better and I think maybe some personality to the characters, I've watched 3 episodes so far and it's kinda just like watching gameplay footage :/ nice idea though

Machinima doesn't make the videos. Other people do and when they submit the videos on MachinimaDOTcom, Machinima uploads them to YouTube. So, it's not Machinima's fault but the person who made it.

Good....Exept work on the movment because they seem all jumpy and stuff. And try some way to hide the hud.... and the heli part was really....just fail.... Other than that good.

@Monstercatch Isn't it implied that MacMillan was put in a wheelchair because of that helicopter crash? Following logic, his role in MW3 would be limited at best... not that logic would stop him of course. Bear in mind that MacMillan's scope is just for show: he thinks of which target he'd like to hit and when he points his gun in the target's general direction, the bullet obliges out of pure fear.

I lol'd when I missed the first shot, and ended up getting a quadruple kill on the second. First shot went just left, second shot flew through the head of one guy, into the arm of another, into the stomach of a third, before hitting Zhakaev. Ok I lied, I didn't lol, I stared at my screen like "wtf"

@pkshd The missions with macmillan were set a good number of years before captain price was actually a captain, if you play the mission All Ghillied up, you'll hear cpt price narrate how he was only a leftenant at the time

@Gepstra I think i would know look at my comment it says @JEREMY1998.He stated that it shouldn't be called one shot one kill because not everyone gets him in one shot and I said that that's just the name of the mission.

@king433hj correctomundo, and wallcroft is the voice of gaz and ghost. though they gave him an extra hard effect. but you can still recognise him at the start of the level when you scan the environment in thermal

Why was the level called One Shot One Kill? I played the level and I first shot Zhakaev, missed, than shot into the smoke and got him. Should be One Shot One Kill For Good Snipers And Maybe More For Bad Ones.

@Gamerx219 The wind and aerodynamics blow off the bullet at that distance, and even if you take that into account, the game fixes it so that the round always takes Zakhaev's arm off.
