By the time these people were getting old or changing field, the directors were changed. Braun's inventions didn't even have anything to do with lights at all. The incandescent light bulb was actually invented by Sir Joseph Swan, an Englishman. Edison's lightbulb was a more long lasting version of Swan's light bulb and the one that made lightbulbs practical. And Philip Reis' invention wasn't even an actual telephone in the modern sense because it wasn't capable of transmitting intelligible speech which made it practically useless. Now that's FACTS for you.
