@StoicBehavioR half of those guys wont be on the field and some will get
red shirted. It's not all about athletics, Stanford is ranked 5th in
academics in the nation. And he has a better chance at playing the RB
position at Stanford and not being changed to WR. If he gets playing time
thats great. And if he’s the best back out of all those other backs he will
play over them. I get tired of these rankings, if the coach decides to play
someone its not based on stars but the work they put in
@StoicBehavioR Chillax padre, its youtube. Don’t get upset about someones
comment its a waste of time, I was just pointing out that at Stanford he
would have a better chance at RB and not be moved to a different position,
the fact is not that many college's want a white guy running the ball, go
look up Ryan Swope, he was another really good RB coming out of Texas and
Texas A&M moved him to WR. USC wanted Toby Gerhart as a full back or
linebacker after breaking rushing records in CA.
Let's not play the color game, and certainly no need for a trite albeit
low-hanging "Johnson" joke. The guy is great. He got into a great school.
Why is everything about color. Geez. Can't we just enjoy the game and enjoy
the fact that this great athlete is not only going to play some good ball
(probably become a STAR) but will also get a great education. Really
America...let's get it together. Just enjoy it.
He’s going to regret passing up Stanford for Notre Dame, where he wont get
much time at RB. Stanford doesn’t care what color your skin is, they play
the best player at the position. And for all the knuckle heads below, going
to the outside isnt a bad thing when you have speed. This guy is a beast,
and plays top level competition in Texas. Want to see another beast check
out Steven Manfro.
Sure he looks small, but he's 5'11'' 195. There are plenty of 195 lb
running backs in college that can pick up the blitz and be tough. Not to
mention he can easily put on 10 - 15 lbs by the 2012 season (which is when
he'll likely see some playing time). Besides, if Brian Kelly can get Cierre
Wood to pick up a pass rusher then he'll have no problem making it work
with Cam.
Looks like he has good acceleration and great vision and footwork, but I
think he lacks size, especially to help in ND's passing game. I also don't
think he can grind out the tough yards, but I think him, Cierre Woods, and
Robert Hughes could be a moster three heading running back committee. A
great pick up by ND and an overall great recruiting class
@JwallRockCity7007 Firstly I never meantion player rankings just pointing
how many runninbacks Stanford has committed to this year class. Secondly,
you talk like Notre Dame is not a great academic school. Lastly on I'm not
the one on some high schooler highlight talking about "How he going to
regert not going to Stanford." Sour grapes anyone!!
He's a great athlete, nice speed and mobility. Let's also recognize he had
some excellent blockers on his team. Some of those holes were huge - and to
his credit he hit them, hit them fast, and made some nice moves past the
line of scrimmage. He owes his line more than a few thank-you notes.
@FootballDad22 Um, ND did recruit him as a RB. Kelly personally told him
so. Now, if he can't beat out Cierre Wood, or Roberson, or Gray, then its
possible he might get moved to the slot to get as much talent as possible
on the field, but thats another case entirely.
Speedy, but a bit undersized. Don't think he will be able to pick up a
D-lineman on a block in the backfield unless he puts on serious weight. But
should be exciting in the return game or if they decide to put him at slot
receiver
he gets some play time as running back now tho. He'll get full playtime
once cierre wood and theo riddick graduate. them boys raw af is why cam
hasn't got much shine. they do put him as rb doe he's just third string
@JwallRockCity7007 Kelsey Young, Remound Wright, Jordan Perkins, and Amir
Carlisle. That's all the runningback Stanford has in their commitment class
right now. I don't think Cam is going to "regret" nothing.
And play for a nigga coach? Give Stanford this year and next year to screw
up the program which Jim Harbaugh created. Negro coaches and football do
not mix just like black QBs don't bring home championships.
WOW what a terrific athlete and player! Welcome to ND Cam! Your hard work
is paying off, you can see the difference in your speed between Jr and Sr
year highlights! You got True break away speed now kid!!
