What college did he attend please? Where did he get his degree? At
berkeley, cal tech or MIT? I mean on the Internet it is impossible to find
something abouth that. Why?
+hopespringseternal70 yea....that was pretty much my point......though far from perfect....I wouldn't say its absolutely meaningless.....but it doesn't necessarily prove anything either....I've met a few experienced MS's that were clearly less useful than the avg BS freshout(though most MS's are masters)....& I've seen a few self taught people that could program circles around me blind-folded.....it all doesn't necessarily mean much....but on avg its an ok guide...one's "sharpness" its mostly just a matter how long you've been interested & the degree of one's interest in the particular matter ......that goes for basket weavers & mechanics to EE's & physicists.
+realcygnusin a broken, outdated and corrupt education system, having a phd is meaningless.so tired of people using a broken standard as a measure of TRUTH.
He plays that down, but I did confirm all the work was completed. In essence, he was too valuable to his professor to sign him off. He wanted another year of work from him to publish more papers and Tom had to move on.
+MBTEVENTS oh....is that so ?...I thought I heard him once say not......but I'm not concerned either way.....his work is outstanding imo.....but PhD....even better !
+realcygnus My understanding is that Tom completely finished his PhD work including the oral exam. The piece of paper was held up because he was of value to his professor and the papers he wanted to publish.
+Daswars I forget what University....but Great scientists can even come out of "CornFlake U"....though I remember that he attended a PhD program but didn't finish because his sponsor wanted additional papers / possibly another year of work ....& he was anxious to start a job......so he left with only a MS...... as most "working" physicists outside of academia. the main difference is that a Dr has kissed the arses(in so many words) of their peers to "prove" that they have contributed to the field. There is no question that he is quite educated imo. though MIT/PhD are symbols of status (as they should be). That is there is virtually no question that a PhD from MIT is an expert........but so "can" be engineers from "CornFlake U". MBT is a very useful model that can be used as a framework to elegantly/simply link physics/metaphysics/philosophy/theology/paranormal etc. & as a little TOE(as in like what science has been searching for since Einstein with string theory & such) it can be used as an interpretation for QM & other aspects of science. Its True that interpretations alone don't necessarily add to sciences empirical knowledge base, but they can/do make things sensible. Like how a sim/VR model can "explain" QM / the DS experiment much more simply than many-worlds/multiverse in "any" form(Occam's Razor). MBT can be useful for a wide range/variety of things pertaining to existence itself, & can begin explaining the why's & not just the How's which has only been only in the realm of meta-physics/philosophy traditionally. It is worth seriously considering imo, as it runs much deeper/ broader/wider than the basic/avg sim/VR model.
+Daswarsof course knowledge is never wasted, unless what is taught is incomplete, blatant lies or used for nefarious purposes.you are certainly aware that much of what is taught in universities is baloney, right?point being that having a degree or two does not necessarily mean someone knows the truth.
+hopespringseternal70 lol. If he had not studied physics and worked on a field like physics or some similar discipline etc... he would not be able to have such kind of insights and knowledge. This is the way how do you understand to separate the real facts from the esoteric. And why does he say that he worked for NASA and etc... dou you believe that somebody can work at NASA without any degree?
+Daswars hopefully he is self-taught and has no degree. hopefully he understood on some level that universities exist to rob us and brainwash us. can you make more money with a degree or two? of course, but at what cost? a soul? i highly doubt there is a degree for oobe and the study of higher consciousness anyway. too right brain for school. school is to tell you what to think, not encourage you to, think for yourself. just mo.

@TheTVLicence it's not just the left, it's which ever government of the day
is appointing its board of directors. It's state television in every sense
of the word so will back the government regardless of ethics or principles.
Not only Campbell but as soon as their kicked out of the Commons up they
pop time and time again on BBC - John Prescott, Hazel Blears, Jacqui Smith
etc etc - will we ever get rid of them?
Hahaha when Sky get rid of Jeff Randall and Adam Boulton and that witch Kay
Burley, then that will be a fair swap.until then it's good to know the BBC
are twitching right wing noses.
Good to see the tories are still feeling threatened by mr campbell existence

+Brandon Campbell I got First Place for 16-17 division at the USAPL NC state meet! I saw yours , you did great, love the vids keep them up. Thanks for all your content
Not sure if you check comments on older videos Brandon but would appreciate
your help. I'm on a 16 week block type periodization that peaks nicely in
the last week for a competition - BUT I just found out the meet is going to
happen sooner, in 7 weeks. This means I need to somehow complete the
program in 12 weeks instead of 16.
What would you do? Would you skip an entire 4 week block of training or..?

you sure got that right LA! It would have made more sense if they had placed her at the top. I might not go that far, but I could not make a list like that, unless it was purely accomplishment driven. On that basis alone she would have to be placed at or near the top. I don't know who has had a longer streak of platinum, but that list couldn't be very long. I haven't even seen RS 100 TS, I am afraid to look, since I am online at night, I am afraid I would outraged and too full of adrenaline to sleep. Unlike the RS editors who seem perpetually asleep.

A great selection of gems and entertaining anecdotes; excepting the Joni

just me.
