+REEFBLUENOTCH This isn't about Diaz being above the law.Here are the facts. Because I think you think it's just about Nick Diaz and a failed drug test.1. Diaz took three drug tests on fight night, one NSAC test, two WADA tests.2. He failed the NSAC test, which is a basic piss test that is scientifically inconclusive to fighting because it can only tell that he smoked weed, not when. And the lowered the levels allowed.3. He PASSED the two much more legitimate WADA blood tests, one of those before the WADA test, one after the fight.4. Arrogantly they're choosing to ignore those in favour of their own test.5. They made Nick Diaz do this test, knowing he was going to fail, Nick Diaz probably knew he was going to fail it going into it. It wasn't scientifically possible that he was going to pass it. Nick Diaz smokes weed, it isn't a secret, he's legally allowed to smoke weed. They're giving him a piss test, that can detect anything up to two or three months. What do they expect him to do, put his life on hold weeks before he even start camps I'm not a Nick Diaz fan, I'm not a marijuana smoker but even I can read between the lines and can tell it's about a lot more than Nick Diaz and a little marijuana test. It's about the NSAC trying to prove they have a bigger dick than everyone and run everything.

+rcronico1 ..........I don't know, but was Jones found guilty of using the drug during a testing period?  Then too, you want to make this a simple matter of "smoking weed", when this commission CLEARLY spelled out the shortcomings (to put it mildly) of Diaz.  The matter went WELL beyond the matter of just lighting up a joint.  All the Diaz and MMA fan boys need to man up about the matter.  People with $$ think they're above the law, and those claiming diplomatic immunity offer up lame excuses for skirting laws, and those with political prowess believe themselves to be beyond  regulations, and some athletes fall into this same category.

So stop comparing it to other cases.This is about the NSAC being bullies and taking their frustrations out on what they see as an anti-authority figure, the fact that they have this bullshit result from a piss test further drove that.

+johnnyz101 I'm surprised Diaz was the first, that I know of, MMA fighter that actually hired an attorney for a NSAC disciplinary hearing.  Going in there without an attorney is like going raw with a prostitute from Detroit.  It's just wrong.  Diaz did the smart thing in hiring an attorney.  Pretty sure the ruling will get thrown out on some constitutional ground. Lack of substantive due process.
