Questions: Congress of future science and technology leaders
Any research would be fine and just post it up to me Thx!!
Hey! I just got this today too. I was really confused about it. Sure I'm a
good student and I maintain a pretty good GPA but I don't know out of all
the other sophomores and even other grades why they would choose me. I'm
pretty skeptical about it and I'm pretty sure it's just a scam. What do you
think? Should I even bother to talk to my counselor?
+TArik Samman Hey! I asked my counselor today and she said it's sadly just a scam for money. However, you do deserve the 3.5 GPA, and if you're actually interested it is a legit program/congress in Boston you are invited to. But, you do need to pay.
+Esai Flores Yeah I doubt I'll actually end up going. I was doing some more research and other's were saying that they send a bunch of these out. They send then to people who have just decent GPA and that it's not that big of a thing. They also mentioned how this doesn't even help you get scholarships and it won't make a difference to colleges when you go to apply. I don't think it's really worth it...
+Rain Arroyo Same here! My dad just got the mail and a letter from Shree Bose came, saying I was selected to be a delegate for the congress and i'm going to get an award. I'm as well skeptical about it, that's why i'm going to ask my counselor tomorrow. I suggest asking ur counselor too.You don't want to miss out on a good opportunity, but if all else fails, u have nothing to lose! (IF it really isn't a good enrichment)
