Binchester 2014: 'Pompeii of the North'
Today, I returned to Binchester to revisit Dr. David Petts and take a look at how excavations at Binchester Roman Fort have developed in the past year.
I am going to be study Medicine hopefully, however when I graduate with the
time I get off from my job e.g. weekends I would like to be a active
archaeologist. The reasons for this is mainly due to the fact I have had
intense interests regarding Ancient and Medieval History since I was young.
Has anyone got any advice regarding becoming an archaeologist?
Thanks for reading this and any help you may provide.
Yes, I love this stuff. BobSmeerfak said nice things about me?? I missed a lot lately because I'm in and out of the hospital so much these days.Archaeosoup is one of my favourite Youtube channels.
Hey Mac, glad you like these vids too. I was also glad to see BobSmeerfak give you such praise. Odd how we travel in the same circles. : )Romans in Britain always fascinated me. 3rd century Christianity being discovered there is also fascinating.

Archaeo-Scope: Ben Carson, Pyramids & Public Archaeology!
Welcome to Archaeo-Scope. In this series we take an archaeological perspective on modern culture; asking questions about current trends and observations ...
My own personal theory is that Joseph built the pyramids in order to store grain," he said. "And all the archaeologists think that they were made for the pharaohs' graves. But you know, it would have to be something awfully big, if you stop and think about it. And I don't think it would just disappear over the course of time to store that much grain." B.Carson, 1998. Carson CBS News last week (2015) that he still believes his idea to be true: "It's still my belief, yes."
+ƁᴇғᴏʀᴇƮʜᴇļɴᴛᴇʀɴᴇᴛ I think a huge percent of GOP voters will not vote for another black president. If they do end up running Carson, they are going to pay for years of racist slurs about Obama as their most faithful supporters in the South will stay home on election day.
