that the bugs are resistant too, an alert is triggered. We have also linked
more closesly to stock control so that if medicines are on order an alert
is triggered and provided more information around the status of discharge
prescriptions.
Latest update is that if a black triangle drug is discontinued due to an
Adverse drug reaction, the pharmacist gets an alert on the web portal that
a yellow card might be necessary. I have also built a number of warnings
around insulin prescribing such as time of day for long acting and short
acting and dose checking
Thanks for commenting. Infection control is something we take very
seriously and we have consistently reduced MRSA and CDiff infections and
have some of the lowest rates in the country. We don't currently have
changing facilities for staff in the Royal, but will have in the new
hospital and our patients will be in single rooms, helping to further
reduce infection. I hope this provides some assurance.
What a really sad shame that your junior doctors travel to and from work in
their work attire, and then sit at home eating an evening meal! Yuck!
Looking at the state of the junior doctors flat, it is not surprising their
hygiene is not very good, but please please make sure they don't travel to
work in clothing, stick fingers up bums and then go home and eat a meal! It
beggars belief!
