Great video! Are 250 twins still quite big in SA? I am from the UK & pretty much all gerbox karting is dying a death over here, inc short circuit as well. I was run briefly & had my engines tuned when i first started out in jnf rotax short circuit by an ex SA karting champ who had a Formula E world championship winning team from the late 80's, so if it is still big out there then it's good to see. I've never understood why 250 karts don't recieve the recognition they deserve, great video.

@ommarwin Thanks, I know its very unfortunate that its frowned upon by so many in motorsport, nevertheless from next year on I for one will be posting a lot of onboard footage of the Superkarts here in SA. Too bad they don't have these here Stateside, in any notable sanctioning body at least. Still, we do have WKA Enduro Karts, which can go over 140, so I don't suppose I should be complaining too much. :)

karting is the best form of motorsport, it's impossible to make a race car as light as a kart, also impossible to get a lower centre of gravity... in Motor racing less is more
