+Dave Ang There are quite a few ways to answer that question but ill give you a pretty definitive answer. Once the plane is completely out of control, the Computer systems will turn off Autopilot, as the Computer believes there is no way to save it. Also, computers are far from invincible, as we saw with flight 447. All it takes is 1 wrong sensor reading and it throws the whole thing in the garbage. With flight 447 , the pitot tubes froze, which gave the plane a false speed reading the plane initially tried to correct this but this made things ten times worse. At which point (as i said above) the computers will just give up and switch autopilot/ 'autosave' off.
Exactly my thought too. The question is -Is airbus to computerised to be flown manualy by the pilots?
